Observations on the otter

An apolitical post derived from the 1969 British film Ring of Bright Water, adapted from a book of that same title by Gavin Maxwell and featuring a magnificent score by the great Frank Cordell. By way of a synopsis: London man in dismal city job buys a pet otter which he names Mij (pronounced "Midge"), ultimately moving with Mij the Otter to a remote corner on the west coast of Scotland. And now to those otterly observations.

The otter. A sort of water-weasel. Playful, nosy, mischievous, rambunctious, and in domestic arrangements tirelessly destructive.  

In water the otter is an expert swimmer and diver; on land it is strong in a squirmy sort of way and swift in a wiggly sort of way. The otter is elongated and can stand tall quite upright on its broad webbed feet and squatty hind legs. Its hands count four fingers and a semi-thumb and are useful mechanically. It is native to the otter to lie on its back, and sometimes to float and more often to sleep on its back. 

The tail of the otter is long and fat, in water powerful and in human habitations destructive. The fur is short, dense, and slick; the otter shakes its fur dry like a dog, or alternately writhes on dry ground. The otter's pin-head features a round little mouth with razor-teeth, a snub nose with whiskers, and intense black eyes. And the otter produces both a grumbling noise and a chirp. 

Also, in the film the aforesaid London man, namely Bill Travers who co-wrote the adaptation with the director Jack Couffer, sometimes walks Mij the Otter on a leash like a dog, and by times Mij sleeps with him like a teddybear. Fine film. They don't make 'em like that anymore, and they can't.  

The imperial history of the United States, for dumbguys

If the Left are decadent, degenerate, and demonic, the Right are dumbguys. Even the alleged intellectuals of the Right -- and I could name names -- are mediocrities and worse, average and conventional, ignorant and unlearning, and wrong at least as often as right. The intellectual and cultural degradation of the Right in America today is in its way as destructive as the satanic Left.  

 

When the Right are right, they're right instinctually, like an animal, and when they're wrong there's no saving them, like an animal whose instincts compel it to dash out into the road before an onrushing truck. 

Among the ugly ignorance of the intellectual poseurs of the Right today is the thesis that America is founded in war against imperialism, as though the Americans of the 1770s had grown up out of the ground in Massachusetts or Virginia, then some faraway foreign king presumed to yoke them in service to the riches and glory of his alien empire, so they fought and won a war to cast off his wicked imperialism -- hoo boy.  

The fact of history is that we were the imperialists, the empire was us: Americans were colonists. And "The British" weren't some foreign occupying power: we were at least as British as the British. Our Revolutionary War was as the English Civil War in the century prior, war of the people against the Crown. 

The fact of history is that there is an America at all because for our fledgling first century and a half our mother country had the imperial power and reach to defend and sustain an Anglo-Saxon civilization in the wilderness of the New World. And after the founding of the republic we carried on colonizing, and colonized more territory in the name of the republic than in the time of the empire. 

Every man and his dog today would judge that America has been imperialist at least since 1945 and especially since 1990. But America has been imperialist from the first and all along. What is the settlement of more than half the continental United States with all its attendant Indian wars, if not imperialism?

  

What is the Monroe Doctrine, in effect if not intent, if not imperialism? For two centuries it has been the settled foreign policy of the United States, and it amounts to an American monopoly of dominion over the western half of the planet: are we to conceive of that as some pristine Early Republic republicanism, and not the most grandiose imperialism?   

What are the Mexican-American War and Spanish-American War and the annexation of Texas, if not imperialism? What are Liberia, Alaska and Hawaii, the Philippines and Guam, even Cuba before communism, if not imperialism? What are the Panama Canal and the Canal Zone, if not imperialism? 

 

In these four centuries of American Civilization, America has never not been objectively imperialist. America has been imperialist from the first and all along. That there even is an America, is the product of imperialism. 

Empire is neither bad nor good, empire is a fact. Some empires do more help than hurt, and some more hurt than help, and generally empires are like the individuals who build and keep them, there's good in them and bad both. There've been empires since there've been societies with any organization to speak of. And empire is like war, it will be with us always. To declare against imperialism itself, or war itself, is about as sensible as declaring against the rising and setting of the sun or the turning of the seasons. 

Thrashing and flailing and raging

Trump's trouble is he expects Russia to quit winning our war against them in trade for nothing that they're fighting for.

If in later 1864, by which time the Union was winning the American Civil War to restore the union and abolish slavery, Russia had demanded that we quit winning the war, and offered that if we did then they'd think about selling us Alaska, we'd have answered, "Thanks for thinking of us, and we might find some use for Alaska if you're minded to sell, but we're fighting this war to restore the union and abolish slavery, and we're winning, so unless you can trade us our quitting the war for what we're fighting it for, then we'll carry on fighting and winning, thanks."  

 

And so to Trump: Quit shrieking at them already and listen to them for once, remember your campaign promises and honor your mandate, while you may yet save yourself and your people, the country and the world. You haven't the time for distraction, you haven't the luxury for error, you haven't the margin for betrayal.

Since December of 2015 I've never not supported Donald J. Trump, and that support for what little it's worth has been greatest when Trump has been lowest -- until today.  

 

It was but months ago that Trump told us God had saved his life so that he might save the world from nuclear war; today Trump tells us he's "prepared" for nuclear war against Russia, the white Christian country who caused us no harm and posed us no threat, and the world's foremost nuclear power.  

 

And that is but the latest in months now of betrayals, betrayals of Trump's principles and promises, his election and mandate, his voters and believers, and me.

 

Thrashing and flailing and raging. That's the picture of Trump half a year into his second presidency. Trump is not the man he was on the day before Election Day. No more the happy warrior, no more the fun and funny amateur and outsider; no more the champion of the Forgotten Man, no more the enemy of the enemies of the people; no more the un-politician, the one man in politics who may be trusted to do as he tells us he'll do and never to betray us; no more the one president in a generation to decline to go to war.

Trump today is a blunderbuss exploding noisily in all directions, as much against friend or neutral as enemy. He's a brute beast, unthinking and never learning. Forever shrilling, never listening. Equal parts ignorant and arrogant. Changeable as a weather vane in a tempest, impressionable as a fat man's seat cushion, unreliable as a treaty with France. Threats and insults, insults and threats. Hysterical insecurity, bombastic bravado, sputtering impotence. An egotist and a fabulist. A clown and a child. 

I'm no prophet and this is no prophecy, it's no more than a sense, but Trump today looks to me like King Kong about the time he scales the Empire State Building. It's in the Bible, it's in Antiquity, it's in the movies. Unless he recognizes he's a mortal man and discovers a Christian modesty and humility and decency, and unless he remembers himself and his mandate from the people, Trump must sooner or later climb that Empire State Building like King Kong, where those fighter planes must shoot him up and knock him down, tumbling from the tower onto the street in a splatter.

The truth about Canada, for Americans at last waking from their happy delusions on the question

Canada is Ontario. Canada was contrived around and for and by Ontario. The very name of Canada is the former name for Ontario, and the Canadian symbol of the maple leaf is the symbol for Ontario. And Ontario is The Enemy in the American Revolution. The Tories who lost the argument and lost the war, and left the country; the defeated who appropriated the imperial leftovers and hid behind the imperial power, for their pathetic counter to the great republic. Ontario is those Americans who chose the Crown over the people, Ontario is America-hating Americans, and Ontario is Canada.  

Quebec is France, and France is antithetical to Anglo-Saxon Civilization always and everywhere.  

Canada is a minor moon in an American solar system. But the Canadian project is oppositional, set in opposition to America, and gainsaying: Canada is whatever it is that America is not, in any given age; it is contingent and inconstant, devoid of immovable principle. The object of Canada is and only ever was the countering of the United States on the North American continent. Canada is our first cousin and oldest enemy. 

There is no God in Canada and thus there is no Right in Canada, and no hope. Canada will not be reformed or redeemed. The only hope for the godly subjects of godless Canada is its disintegration, and their joining to the great republic. The only way is out.

Annex Alberta

If Trump is not in earnest as to annexing some part of Canada to the United States then he ought to be, and if he is in earnest then the time is now and the way is Alberta. 

 

Canada is a make-believe country and an accident of history. Canada has not the wherewithal for independence, and has been underwritten first by Britain and since by America. Canada's being Canada has been a luxury, afforded by America's being America. 

  

In the grandest scheme, if British North America will not be British then ultimately it can only be American. Pere Trudeau half a century ago banished Britishness from Canada, then more recently Junior Trudeau abolished whatever it was his father had made of Canada, so that by now there's nothing left hanging it all together. And after Trudeau II Canada never was so wrecked in the miserable century and a half since the BNA Act. But Canada always was antidemocratic and anymore it's satanic, and Canada will not be reformed or redeemed. The only hope for the people of Canada is its disintegration, and their integration into America. The only way is out. 

Not Quebec. Never Quebec. New France must never be permitted admission to the United States; it is antithetical to America, and anyhow the prospect of any generation of Frenchmen affirmatively voting for U.S. statehood is blessedly unthinkable. It must be also that Ontario would be loath to join America, being as they are "Canada" proper, namely the Tories who lost the argument and the war in the American Revolution, then appropriated the imperial leftovers and hid behind the imperial power for their pathetic counter to the American project which is Canada. Ontario and Quebec before 1867 formed the Province of Upper and Lower Canada, and they might conceivably be reconstituted into that Rump Canada.    

The 51st state can only be Alberta. It's the low-hanging fruit, begging pardon for the cliche. Alberta is effectively an American state trapped in a Canadian purgatory, and the cash-cow milked by Ottawa: Alberta might be expected to vote for secession from Canada and accession to the United States, in which case it might be absorbed into America very neatly. At which point the precedent would be established, and Canada may well go broke and fly apart. And thereafter the United States would be in position to pick off the debris, in the West and the Maritimes. 

As to the three provinces of the Maritimes and the two Prairie provinces east of Alberta, it may be that their populations and economies are too insignificant to warrant admission to the United States as states unto themselves. But the Maritime provinces were at one time all of them Nova Scotia, and they might be consolidated into a unitary U.S. state, called maybe The Maritimes, with the three constituent provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island being retained as regions. New Brunswick shares a long border with the United States, then Nova Scotia is connected contiguously by the isthmus, and PEI today is joined to the mainland by bridge. The new state capital could only be Halifax, which might make also a major American port on the North Atlantic and Arctic trade routes and a major American naval base, the ideal harbor jutting out well into the North Atlantic.

 

The Prairie provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan are vast territories with modest populations of something over a million each, and for that same reason of population and economy they also may want consolidating into a unitary state of two regions for admission to the United States, called maybe The Prairies or "Manewan". British Columbia may be another matter, for reasons of size and of politics, but in the event that Alberta joined the Union, BC would be enveloped on three sides by the United States, and already half its coast is Alaskan, then in the event that Saskatchewan and Manitoba followed Alberta into the Greater United States, BC would be far removed from Rump Canada.  

 

Yukon which borders Alaska and the whole or part of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut might be annexed and administered as territories of the United States, called maybe the United States Arctic Territories or USAT (you-sat). As to Newfoundland and Labrador, Labrador which is a northern extension of Quebec and Newfoundland which is quite independent of the Maritimes, and the whole of which may be too tiny in the way of population and economy to warrant admission to the United States as a state unto itself, I've not yet decided what's to be done with them. 

Unsolicited suggestion for the Second Trump Administration: A "Blessed Are the Peacemakers" delegation to Budapest

(In light of Trump's triumph and the attendant slackening in the censorship and criminalization of we the majority, I am for the first time in some time hopeful that my words might be read by eyes other than mine, hence the brief post following.)  

Trump tells us to "Dream Big, Again," so here goes.    

 

A "Blessed Are the Peacemakers" delegation led by J. D. Vance and including Robert Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and preferably also Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson, to Budapest in Hungary, happily hosted by Prime Minister Orban, and maybe even before Trump's Inauguration, to meet a delegation from Russia led maybe by Foreign Minister Lavrov, with the object of considering a Grand East-West Security Accord, to foreclose on world war and nuclear holocaust and to establish the security and stability we ought to have established at the close of the Cold War, but wouldn't.  

  

(Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk both are adored in Russia.) 

I'm a Russia-watcher, and everything we think we know about Russia today and about Putin, is a lie. Since his rise to power a quarter-century ago, Putin has wished for a mutual security arrangement among Russia and America and Western Europe, and even now, after all we've done to Russia, and all we've claimed and threatened against Russia, Putin wants peace with us still.  

  

Beyond which, it does seems that in just these last months Russia has gotten to be the single-greatest outside influence on North Korea and on Iran — it may even be that the Iranian strike against Israel lately was restricted to military targets for the reason that Russia wouldn't abide attacks on Israeli civilians — so that if we came to terms with Russia then we might at the same time simplify our difficulties with Iran and North Korea.

 
Trump might bring peace in the here and now, and some assurance of peace beyond his time, and at the same time unwind the troubles in the Mideast and Korean Peninsula. 

De-indexed

Sometime in 2023, evidently, this little blog was what is termed "de-indexed", that's to say, it cannot now be found on Google. Half a decade before, the blog was "shadow-banned", flagged for burying at the bottom of the heap in Google's search results. At the time of the shadow-banning my readership was strangled to a few stragglers, and since the de-indexing I've been denied even my stragglers. And inasmuch as nearly all my traffic owed to search engines, there has been since last year no practical purpose to my posting to this blog.

We call it "Big Tech censorship", but that's not strictly accurate: it's been established by now in court that internet censorship in America is directed by the FBI and CIA, the Homeland Security and State Departments, and the Biden White House, etc., notwithstanding that such censorship is forbidden by the first amendment to the Constitution and first provision of the Bill of Rights. Because this is post-democracy. 

As to Google, it used to be that Google's motto was "Don't be evil"; they've forgotten the "Don't". And as to me, I've applied myself to undertakings beyond the scope and reach of this or any blog. Under a pseudonym.

Report on Jeshua the Nazarene, by a Nameless Spy of the Temple Guard

I was not a skeptic; I was a confirmed unbeliever. I am trained in The Law and its enforcement. I belong to no sect and believe in no superstition. And my allegiance is to The Law, the Temple, and Israel. So for the sake of The Law and the Temple and Israel, hear me and heed me. 

By the time of my assignment, the Nazarene was easily found and easier followed: the people spoke of him unprompted, his whereabouts and his works, and where he went, multitudes thronged. I discovered the Nazarene in Bethany, and disappeared into the masses who had attached to him. 

The people high and low who follow the Nazarene or believe in him without having seen him do not imagine his supernatural works to be possible; they know them to be impossible. The reports are accurate, the miracles are authentic: no man was ever persuaded by his eyes over his will more totally or brutally than I. The question is whether this extraordinary man and his supernatural powers are of the Light, or otherwise.

   

There is only Light about the Nazarene; his ways and works are only good. He knows The Law as well as any Pharisee, and keeps The Law at least as well. His deeds are compliant with The Law, his words are consistent with The Law. Save one. It was my principal charge, to witness the Nazarene's reputed claims of deity, and I am bound to report that in my hearing, and more than once, he did utter claims to the effect that God the Father is his father. But before the Nazarene is judged for blasphemy, hear my report and heed my warning.

The Nazarene and his circle are not an army, not a faction, not even a gainful enterprise; they resemble nothing so much as a wandering teacher and his over-aged pupils. The Nazarene asks no monies and holds no properties. He and his circle dress plainly, without finery or jewelry, and they're forever eating bread and fish like the common people. They are itinerant, without a fixed abode but never without friends to offer them a table and a bed. 

Our notion that the Nazarene threatens the established authorities temporal or ecclesiastical, is the projection of ambitious men in those established authorities. Among his followers are a great many who believe him to be the Messiah of prophecy and who interpret that prophecy as the throwing off of Roman dominion from Israel, but the man himself says nothing to inflame and does nothing to impel any such political aspiration. On the temporal powers he offers only, "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's." There is no sedition about the Nazarene, and he is without ambition; his cause is not worldly.

  

It's highest blasphemy, of course, the Nazarene's claims to be "Son of God", unless of course he is the Son of God. We are a subject people, subject to Rome, and if for whatever cause the Nazarene comes to affront Rome, then I know too well how Rome will answer the affront. But if this Jeshua the Nazarene is the Messiah of prophecy, come to deliver us not from Rome but from death, and if in him God has offered us His son, and yet Israel takes a hand in his rejection, then woe to Israel.

Forgotten history on a forgotten Evacuation Day

America is not Irish and Patrick is not our saint, nor do we observe the holidays of foreign national patron saints or recognize extra-Biblical Roman "saints". So "Saint" Patrick's Day is alien to America, and in America the 17th of March is rightly Evacuation Day, the commemoration of the Revolutionary expulsion of government forces from Boston in our first great triumph of the Revolutionary War, March 17 of 1776. 

It wasn't "the British" we were fighting: we were at least as British; what are termed "the British" were "the government". The American Revolution was our treasonous, murderous, and righteous, armed insurrection against our duly-instituted government. We were outlaws but we prevailed by the will of God and force of arms, and so the outlaws became the founders of the republic, and the rest is history.

It's suited American governments since that American Revolution that the lawful government of the time is misnamed in history "the British", carrying the connotation of foreign occupier, but "the British" were neither foreign nor occupiers, they were our people and our government, only they lorded over us so we killed them and seized their power for ourselves. And Amen. 

America is not a government or deference to government, any more than it's Irish or Roman; America is glory to God and death to kings.

And another thing, along these lines, my best theory to account for a sociological anomaly which mystified me for as long as I was cognizant of it, and which I have never yet seen addressed or even acknowledged elsewhere. 

I come from a rarefied corner of the planet, northeast of Maine in extreme southern, extreme rural Nova Scotia, at a sort of end of the world. My people descend from Old New England -- my own line landed in 1631 -- and to the present day they speak Old New England and think Old New England. And yet, by my father's generation in the Midcentury, and in my generation circa the '80s and '90s, our cultural identity was Southern and Western.  

We were left out of the Revolution in the 1770s while we settled the 14th Colony, and in 1867 we were annexed against our express democratic will to godless, godforsaken Canada, may it be destroyed utterly and soon. Canada was ever a foreign occupying regime, Tories who are The Enemy and Frenchmen who are The Enemy, all alien and anathema, and pathetic to boot. The whites-need-not-apply, the-women-are-the-men-and-the-men-are-girls, gay-and-trans, Church of Green, globalist communist, satanic Canada of the 21st Century is that much more alien and anathema.

Then the Old Country betrayed us in 1867, and even by the early 17th Century we had been compelled to part from our country and countrymen, lorded over as they were by a king and an aristocracy and a Rome-ish state church. So where were we to turn for a mother, our little lost colony?

Until some stage of the 20th Century our compass pointed to New England. Even into the last century our capital was less Halifax, never mind Ottawa or London, than Boston. But by my father's time New England was being supplanted in our heads and hearts, by the American South and West, notwithstanding that for obvious reasons of geography and history we'd had little or nothing to do with the South and West.

Why should a little lost colony of Old New Englanders stranded motherless half a continent away from the American South and West, lose their identification with their ancestral New England and come to identify instead with the remote South and West, and about that time, the middle of the 20th Century? The answer can only be immigration, the cumulative and transformative effects of mass immigration by alien foreigners to the North which mostly passed over the South and West.

By the time I first visited Massachusetts in the later '80s about the only English left in New England was the placenames. Boston which had been England in America was by then Ireland in America. Irish Catholics had washed over Boston in the first wave of foreign immigrants since the Foreign Protestants of Lunenburg and Pennsylvania before the Revolution, beginning not long before the Civil War and followed post-bellum by Italians and Poles and Eastern European Jews and a cacophony of Old World tribes and religions swarming Boston and New England and the North more generally, so that by some chapter of the 20th Century the Old Stock had been washed away and our homeland was to us a strange land. 

But not so the South and West. "Old times there were not forgotten." There still the surnames were Smith and Jones, the churches were wood painted white and the religion was the Bible, King James translation, the cuisine was buttered biscuits and apple pie, and the talk drawled and the songs twanged. The South and West to us had gotten to be more like home than home.

One-party post-democracy

There've been worse times in America, but not since Sherman's March to the Sea. If it's not a recession then it's a depression, two-thirds to three-quarters of the people say so per even the Big Press polling. Worst inflation in 40 years. Worst year by far for stocks and bonds since records were first kept in 1871, $10 trillion destroyed. Worst consumer confidence yet registered.

Worst crime. Worst invasion of the southern border, five million illegal aliens in two years officially, and presumably as much as double that in toto and in truth, from every corner of the planet to every corner of the country, "resettled" courtesy of the United States government whose duty is to keep them out or kick them out. About as many Americans dead in 365 days as died in Korea and Vietnam combined over a decade, from Fentanyl and other opiates, Fentanyl being manufactured in China and smuggled through Mexico.

Worst war in Europe since 1945, with the realistic prospect of war in Asia and World War Three and nuclear holocaust. A spectacular, world-historic calamity in Afghanistan, 20 years of blood and treasure gone for naught and worse than naught, leaving the Taliban with uncontested command of much more territory than before our intervention and the ninth- or eighth-greatest arsenal on earth. Food production across the country destroyed violently and mysteriously and continuously, in the middle of a global food shortage, with not so much as an acknowledgement by the authorities. 

Something like $7 trillion in two years of deficit spending with nothing to show for it but inflation and corruption, madness and ruin. Tax collectors reinforced by an army of 87,000, to be armed and trained and licensed to kill ordinary Americans.

Madness in the public schools, "Critical Race Theory" and "LGBTQ+", training the kids into hatred of whites and into homosexuality and transgenderism. Compulsory injection with experimental and needless, harmful and lethal vaccines. Not coincidentally a crash in American life-expectancy, to the Third World level of Mexico's.

 

Censorship and criminalization of the political opposition and of dissenters and nonconformists generally, the leviathan security apparatus turned inward and corrupted comprehensively, and state and media degenerated into an Empire of Lies. Etc., etc.

The authors of all this are the Satanic force known as the Democrat Party, who in this time monopolize power as never before. 2022 was a midterm election year and in America the party in power are punished in the midterms even when times are good. The polling which skews Democrat by as much as 20 points, was agreed that the Democrat Party would pay for the ruin and madness they had wrought, electorally. And the wide world took for granted that the Democrats were assured of a world-historical comeuppance in the 2022 midterm elections.     

And yet we're expected to believe that the hated and disastrous Democrats were rewarded by the people whose country and lives they had demolished, gaining a seat in the Senate and coming within five seats of salvaging a bare majority in the House. Because elections in the United States in the 2020s are a fiction and a farce, they're pantomimes of elections.

In a word, it's a fix. Arizona is only the most obviously stolen election of the 2022 cycle, but as yet it's the most thoroughly investigated, documented, and quantified of the stolen elections this cycle, and so it's Arizona that I treat hereunder:  

-299,000 "early votes" in Maricopa County were counted outside the lawful chain of custody.

-59% of polling stations unaccountably crashed in Maricopa which is 62% of the state, on Election Day when 75% of voters were Republican, one day after the system had been declared in good working order, with 84% of those crashes in deep red precincts, i.e., the crash was deliberate, to deny Republican voters and votes.

-Magically most Election Day votes were Democrat votes in Maricopa despite that just 17% of Election Day voters were Democrat voters.

-25,000 votes were piled on in Maricopa after the legal deadline.

-Tens of thousands of mailed and dropped ballots in Maricopa were counted despite bearing signatures which are manifestly fraudulent.           

-Counted duplicate ballots are not matchable to the uncounted originals as cast by the voters.

-Election Day ballots in Maricopa -- i.e., Republican votes -- were printed on 20" paper unprocessable by the 19" machines.

-The counting in Maricopa was handed off to a third-party contractor which is unlawful in Arizona, and the ownership of the said contractor donated to Democrats on the ballot in '22 and '20.

-The verification of signatures on mailed and dropped ballots in Maricopa was left to "artificial intelligence", also unlawful in Arizona.

-The Democrat at the top of the ticket ran in the election and ran the election too, then certified the election and threatened the counties with jail unless they certified too.

-And two of the McCainiac Maricopa "supervisors" who ran the election also ran a campaign against the Republicans on the ballot, and one conspired with the Deep State to censor them.

 

In a word, it's a fix. Maricopa County "counted" for two and a half weeks until the incompetent and unpopular Bolshevik apparatchik running at the top of the ticket was proclaimed the next governor by all of 17,000 votes. And like Prohibition law was defied to death by the corruption of law enforcement and government low and high, stolen elections depend for their preservation on the corruption of those offices and institutions whose purpose it is to seek the truth and remedy the injustice.  

Arizona is bent, crooked, corrupt, and sewn up all the way down. So when dirty Maricopa County rigs the statewide elections, the dirty George-Soros sheriff, the dirty Establishment attorney general, the dirty Establishment governor, the evil Democrat secretary of state who ran in the election and ran the election too, and obviously the state and national press and Big Tech and the Deep State, all cover up the criminality and run out the clock until the fraud is sanctified by certification and those candidates repudiated by the people are installed safely in their offices, to burn the country down around them.

 

One honest judge might nullify the fraud, rescue Arizona, and turn the battle to save the country and the world. The Maricopa County judge was not that honest judge, permitting a nominal hearing presumably because the whole of Arizona now recognize that their elections are rigged and so he couldn't very well do in 2022 as in 2020 and dismiss the challenge unheard, but stripping that challenge to two counts and reducing the plaintiff to all of five-and-a-half hours' presentation, minus the delaying tactics of the dirty lawyers for dirty Maricopa, then promptly issuing his ruling seemingly ghostwritten by the same Democrat law-lord who gave us the Russia Hoax and the stolen election of 2020. And so with that ruling, December 24 of 2022, the world's greatest democracy is reduced at last to one-party post-democracy.

The truth about Ukraine, for the dupes and rubes

-The Ukraine War is only incidentally Ukrainian: Ukraine is only the first and most obvious choice for the Deep State as a battlefield and a sandbox for a proxy war on Russia. The Ukraine War is in fact the Deep State War on Russia, which had caused us no harm and posed us no threat, because in a word, Putin won't show gays on TV. Russia today is a white Christian power, and the satanic Deep State have determined that it must be destroyed, for those reasons that it's white and Christian and a power. 

 

-Since our Ukraine War, Putin was never more secure in his Kremlin, while in Westminster two British prime ministers leading the charge against Russia have fallen, as have both NATO governments to stand for re-election since the early months of the war. And Russia's effective alliance with China -- for only the first time since there've been a Russia and a China, the nightmare of American foreign policy for 70 years, and still another consequence of the stolen election and its stolen presidency -- has expanded to India and Egypt and effectively also Saudi Arabia, each of those having been a friend or ally of the United States under Trump.  

 

-Since our Ukraine War and its attendant Total Economic War on Russia, U.S. gross domestic product has contracted for two quarters out of three, and for three quarters out of three American stocks and bonds have bled out -- only the first time since there've been stocks and bonds that bonds have not made a safe haven from stocks -- and of course inflation was never worse, not to mention the prospect of global famine. Meantime the United States spent more on Ukraine in seven months than the total annual budget of the first-world superpower armed forces of Russia.

-The borders of Ukraine have been redrawn seven times in the last century alone: 1917, 1922, 1939, 1945, 1954, 2014, and 2022. Ukraine's borders are not inviolable or sacrosanct but arbitrary and capricious, and the Western leadership begging for World War Three and nuclear holocaust in the name of upholding Ukraine's borders, are at the same time unmaking the only borders they're in a position to enforce, namely their own.       

-Ukraine is no democracy. Zelensky has outlawed all opposition parties and all independent media, and assassinated figures suspected of favoring a negotiated settlement with Russia and having done with the needless bloodshed and destruction; even before the war he outlawed several media outlets unsupportive of him and arrested his principal political rival. The last democratic president of Ukraine, elected on a platform of friendship with Russia, was toppled in 2014 for that reason that he was friendly to Russia, in a coup d'etat staged by the self-same Deep State who orchestrated the Russia Hoax and Ukraine Impeachment and the present Ukraine War. 

 

-The corrupt war-on-Russia president of Ukraine installed in the 2014 coup was approved by then-vice president of the United States and point-man on Ukraine Joe Biden. The Biden Crime Syndicate proceeded to bilk Ukraine for several million dollars at least. Biden later threatened American aid to Ukraine to halt a Ukrainian investigation into the corruption. And on his own installation as president of the United States, Biden's regime set at once to kicking up a war with Russia in Ukraine.

-It is the Deep State who authored this Ukraine War and it's the Deep State who sustain and escalate it. The Deep State run the Biden regime, and the Biden regime run Ukraine and NATO.     

-Support for the war in Ukraine is not support for Ukraine: keeping up the war is blowing up the country and piling up the bodies. Ukraine is incidental to the Ukraine War and dispensable to the Deep State who use it for their sandbox. You who imagine you're "helping" Ukraine by sustaining the Deep State's war on Russia which only incidentally involves Ukraine, are dupes and rubes whose credulity and stupidity are lethal to Ukraine and may yet be lethal beyond Ukraine. 

-And you who imagine that Russia blew up their own vital natural gas pipelines in the Baltic, might as well kill yourselves now: you're too stupid to survive.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, for 2022

..."We" there being The True America. Any who demur from the following are too stupid to survive. Not exhaustive, and in no particular order:

 

-The vaccines don't work and aren't safe. The virus by now won't kill you but the vaccines might. 

-The bug came from the lab. "COVID-19" is biowar, clinically engineered in a Wuhan lab and deliberately released into the wide world by the regime in Beijing.

 

-2022 is a wilderness of mirrors; the every utterance of every institution and every official is a lie. If it's official, in 2022, it's a lie. 

-"1/6" is a lie and the FBI are the KGB. 

 

-Ukraine is not our ally or even our friend, and Ukraine is no democracy. Russia is not our enemy except insofar as the Deep State and Democrat Party have made an enemy of Russia. War in Europe is the doing of the Deep State and Democrat Party, involving the self-same figures who had the doing of the Russia Hoax and the Ukraine Impeachment and the 2014 coup d'etat against the duly-elected president of Ukraine for the reason that he was friendly to Russia. The United States and NATO are doing just enough to keep this Ukraine War going and to bring on a global famine while they're about it, with no prospect of victory for Ukraine, fighting a wrong and losing war to the last Ukrainian, but with some prospect of tripping into World War Three.

-Green is suicide. CO2 is the innocuous stuff we all exhale, and oxygen to the plant kingdom; the global temperature has risen all of 0.9 of a degree Celsius in a century; and the principal producer of CO2 in the world is exempted by the Greens from their Green Suicide Pact, because of course that principal producer is communist China. 

  

-The Democrat Party are a satanic force; the Republican Party are dumb, weak, corrupt, or on the other side.

-Trump won. He won big, or else the fraud against him wouldn't be so spectacular. And what has followed the stolen election, across the country and around the world, has followed from the stolen election. 

The dead burying the dead

2021 was post-democracy; 2022 is post-America. America was the last godly power on earth; America today is neither godly nor a power. The United States has been appropriated by the enemies of the United States, America is not American, and the world is on fire.

Anti-war war-mongers. For half a century they couldn't take their country's side in a war, and they excised the very word "armed" from their armed forces. Their war has been against Western Civilization and Christianity, and now that they've fully and finally won that war and America and the West can't defeat even a lot of goatherds in rags, they cry "war" for World War Three against the world's foremost nuclear power.

Post-military militarists. They invent war where there was peace, their currency is lies, and their war by other means succeeds only in cutting off our noses to spite our faces. Their war is for an ally that's not our ally and against an enemy that's not our enemy, and they leave the men in the middle to the suffering and dying. It's their gratuitous and malicious meddling that's brought this war on those faraway innocents, and they vow to do just enough to keep the war going till any innocents left haven't any country left.

  

Their fight is for a "democracy" that's no democracy, and for foreign borders that are redrawn every generation anyhow, when they've dismantled our democracies and our borders. Their patriotism is for a country halfway around the world they never gave a thought to till the day before yesterday, and they have only contempt for their own countries which are the only countries they have it in their power to save. 

 

America and the West in 2022 are Sodom and Gomorrah, and America and the West in Ukraine are the dead burying the dead.

November 2020 was a war and America lost

Just how would America 2022 be different, if the election of 2020 weren't an election but a war, and the United States defeated? 

 

The totality of the national government, the marginal majority in Congress as well as the imperial presidency and the leviathan federal bureaucracy, are unelected by the people and anathema to the people, they rule in diametric opposition to the will and the good of the people, they hate America and its people and mean the destruction of the United States. 

The border is invaded daily and nightly by untold millions annually of hostile foreigners from every corner of the planet, terrorists and criminals included, and so far from defending the country against the invasion, the national government "resettle" the invaders at taxpayer expense to determinative swing states. And those invaders are exempted from the laws and expectations of law-abiding citizens, from testing and vaccination for the China Virus to even presenting identification for travel by air. 

  

The enemies of the United States from Afghanistan to Iran and Cuba to China are given all they wish for, and for nothing, unto the point of chucking a victory in Afghanistan bought with exactly 20 years of blood and treasure, delivering the country for nothing to the most barbarous barbarians in this barbarous 21st Century, complete with $83 billion of the most sophisticated and lethal weaponry on offer, thousands of freed fighters, and the largest air base in the region. All while servicemen who love their country are run out of the service for the reason that they love their country, what's left are brainwashed into Hate America, Hate Whites critical race theory, and war-readiness gives way to maternity flight suits and government-issued gender reassignments.

 

The rights of the Bill of Rights are suspended indefinitely, for the patriot majority. The votes of the majority are vetoed. The political opposition are censored and criminalized, purged by Big Tech and blockaded by the Big Press, and raided by the FBI-KGB. Also pushed out of their jobs and careers, refused basic services, and "doxed" to expose them and their households to brownshirt retribution for their majority beliefs. Parents of public schoolchildren who demur from their public schoolboards are designated "terrorists" pursuant to the Patriot Act by the FBI-KGB. 

The Rushmorean patriot leader who stands for the great majority is tried in perpetuity by a succession of kangaroo courts whose object is to disqualify him from standing again for president and winning a third national election, he's forbidden speaking on any platform whereon he might be heard, and he and his lawyers and captains are harassed continually by lawless law officers of the regime faction, unto the point of raids of offices and homes by the FBI-KGB.

  

A gulag is instituted in the very national capital for the indefinite detention and torture without bail or trial of law-abiding citizens who love the country and fear God and believe in the Constitution, a large part of them the men who fought our wars for us, abused daily and nightly now by prison guards from Africa, beaten half to death, pepper-sprayed, stripped naked, deprived of sleep, consigned to solitary confinement for months, denied medical attention, denied sustenance, denied even elemental hygiene, their cells flooded with raw sewage, and denied consultations with counsel.

The great overwhelming white majority of the United States are denied life-saving treatments, for the reason that they're white, denied placement in the best schools and the boardrooms, denied representation in their national culture and even in the national advertising to them. The police don't police and the prosecutors don't prosecute, save for the extra-legal edicts and Stalinist fishing expeditions of the regime faction, and thugs and crooks rule the streets. American energy production is strangled, the American dollar is junked by 10 cents in 12 months, and American shelves from car parts to groceries go bare. One could go on, but QED. 

My crystal ball anymore is all mud and fog; I can't see one step in front of me. But the here-and-now is plain enough: the United States in 2022 is an occupied country.

-The Democrat Party are not the only racist political party on earth and in history, but surely they're the first and only racist party to have switched races. KKK to BLM. On both ends the Democrat Party have stolen elections.

  

-Oklahoma is a northerly projection of Texas, situated on the longitudinal equator of the contiguous United States, and constituting the center of American patriotism. 

-At the risk of over-generalization, Britain in movies circa 1950 looks like the 19th Century, and Italy in movies circa 1950 looks like the 16th; America in movies circa 1950 looks like 1950.  

-Also at the risk of over-generalization, British movies are about The War, German movies are about Germany, and French and Italian movies are about cheating.

Fin de siècle

Literally "end of century" in French, applied especially to the turn of the century from the 19th to the 20th, but in English and more broadly, the passing of an age. In this present age the globalist leftist establishment conjure a Great Reset, between flutes of champagne at Davos. And one does wonder whether we are on the point of a terrific turning-over, only not of the sort glimpsed at in the sparkles and bubbles of Davos.

 

If it's official, it's a lie. At the risk of overgeneralization, in 2021, if it's official, it's a lie. If the FBI say so, it's a lie. If "Dr." Fauci at his National Institutes for Health says so, it's a lie. We all are coming around to the truth that we are daily and nightly lied to, by the powerful and the influential, that the powerful and influential don't know what they're talking about or what they're doing or what's going on, and that the powerful and influential hate the ever-living guts of the masses of nobodies who are We the People.  

 

And at the same time that the institutions are bankrupted on the debased currency of their credibility, the upstarts demonstrate that anybody can do it. So for instance Fox News today is halfway to becoming CNN-3, but as Fox betrays us, no fewer than three alternative conservative TV news channels ride over the ridge to sustain us. As it turns out, it's not so unattainably tricky or costly to build a TV-news set, run a camera or two, and find a host and some guests who talk sense, then throw it all up onto the air. Anymore, anyone can do it, if only they work at it and they're good people with sound ideas.

 

One could go on with cases-in-point of the corrupt establishment overtaken by the dedicated amateur or the rough-and-ready upstart, but let this further exhibit suffice. Marx famously observed that "religion is the opiate of the masses," and as ever Marx was wrong, but his formulation was useful: as of some time in the later 20th Century the opiate of the masses has been televised sports. I don't say that the established leagues of the woke billionaires are finished, but to take but one example, the Superbowl which has been for the longest time the biggest thing in TV sports, rated worse in 2021 than since the 1960s when football was America's second game. And that was before the NFL declared itself homosexual and its national anthem the black national anthem. At the same time it does seem to me that the energy and growth anymore are with the amateur and outsider, the rough-and-ready, the upstart and unwoke in sports, like UFC or NASCAR or college ball. Fin de siècle, maybe. 

 

It may be that I'm thinking wishfully, but I find the signs and the proofs of it daily, that the rot of the last half-century has gotten to be unsupportable, that the godless elite and lawless establishment who lord over us are exposed for the forces of evil they are, and that the elite and establishment stand today about where the Roman Church stood, about the time Martin Luther nailed those Ninety-five Theses to that door.

The late, last godly power

Six little months; half a year of war and rumors of war.

 

Three acts of war on the United States, cyber sabotage on the economic infrastructure, without consequence to the saboteurs. Something like 50 attacks on Americans in Iraq, one by drone. War anew in Iraq and Syria. War also in Israel and Gaza, after the Abraham Accords and the greatest peace in the Mideast since the founding of Israel in '48. A third of Afghanistan is reclaimed by the Taliban.  

In Haiti the president is assassinated. South Africa descends into undeclared race war of black against white with corpses "lining the roads".

China mobilizes against Taiwan. Russia is driven into the arms of China by the same forces who authored the Russia Hoax and Ukraine Impeachment, aligning with China against us diplomatically as well as militarily, and driven also to mobilization against our forward base of Ukraine. 

What it all comes to, this half-year of war and rumors of war, in my reckoning, is that the world America has borne on its shoulders, is crashing down around us: America is not America, not in 2021, and in 2021 America is collapsed, past-tense; America was the last godly power on earth, but as of 2021 America is not godly and neither is it a power.

New Old Hollywood

The patriots are building a new news and a new internet, but we're wanting a restored culture for a restored republic. And I say we start with a New Old Hollywood.

 

I know in my bones that the country and the world are crying out for a New Old Hollywood. The audience is there: the ratings and box office and every anecdotal signifier are screaming that the people already have tuned out; the country and the world are starved. And I'm convinced too that if one of our number were to found a modest studio and issue the mother of all casting calls, "Now hiring anyone who loves the movies but doesn't hate the country," including from Hollywood and maybe including some powers in Hollywood if they're still drawing breath like Clint Eastwood, then a New Old Hollywood might be thrown up practically overnight.   

America and the Western world more generally by now would scarcely recognize a culture: for half a century culture has been counter-culture; these 50 years and more we've been fumbling through a New Dark Age. The story of the last half-century since 1968 or thereabouts, in a word, is that the technology got better and every other blessed thing got worse.

  

The elite and the establishment are collapsed, and the Left bankrupt, totally and finally. There can be no earthy use anymore in critiquing them by way of nudging them to reform; they never will throw in with us and neither will they let us into their inside. The Left and the elite and the establishment are all rot and poison; for half a century their every word and deed have been rot and poison. They are the dark side in a great struggle and can only be vanquished, I pray not by force of arms but through the manifest superiority of our ideas and works. And so it's left to us to resolve like Robert Graves a century ago, "Goodbye to all that," and set to building our restored republic with a restored culture.   

And I'd venture one further. We might build our New Old Hollywood in the rich and growing conservative satellite of tropical Houston in red-state Texas, the fourth-largest city and the second-largest state, where the winter lasts just two months in twelve, namely The Woodlands. And obviously we couldn't fail to name a New Old Hollywood built in The Woodlands, "The Hollywoodlands". Also if we were wanting a name for that founding studio then we could do worse than the sort of stamp on the titles of movies in the Midcentury, that they were made in "Hollywood, U.S.A." (And postscript, addressed to any would-be moviemaker in our would-be New Old Hollywood: I'm sitting on a script to change the movies, change the world, and change your life.)

Automat Revival

Bring back the Automat, I say:

Retro-Midcentury Modern design combining the Howard Johnson and the chrome diner and the Automat. Every table a booth. And on every table a miniature jukebox, glowing with the menu and corresponding buttons, and on the side of the juke a card-swiper. Ranks of clear plastic tubing lining the ceiling and walls, table-level model-train tracks discreetly ringing the restaurant: the tubes to convey the drinks, and the tracks the dishes. Jets of pop streaking overhead; watch your drink zipping and twisting to your cup over the length of the restaurant. And proceeding from the mysterious, unseen kitchen, a procession of 30" scale characters shuttling along the tracks bearing trays and dishes: a lovely fat Jersey cow; a plump, pink pig; a two-tone-with-chrome '56 Chevy in turquoise; a rocket from science fiction before the Moonshot, with fins and needle-nose and aerodynamic bulge, in unpainted aluminum alloy; an outsized Coke bottle and an outsized Heinz ketchup bottle; and the popular favorite, the classical 1950s "tin can on legs" robot -- pronounced "RO-but" after the Midcentury fashion -- waving his dryer-hose arms mechanically and superfluously.

The dumb-waiter trundles along the tracks to the table that placed its order, where it slows and halts, and waits patiently until a sensor detects that it's been relieved of the last of its order, whereupon it trundles off, around the loop until finally it vanishes into that inner sanctum which is the kitchen. And at the end a punchline: depress the "BUS TABLE" button at the bottom of the miniature jukebox and a caricature of a Midcentury garbage man materializes from the kitchen, proceeding along the tracks to the table in question and shaking his head judgmentally. Deposit your detritus on the tray mounted atop his scale classical aluminum trash can, tap his head twice, and away he goes, shaking his head at the mess you've made. "No substitutions. No cash or checks. No waiters, no tips. Take it as you find it, or take off. This is an automat. Thank you for your cooperation and your custom."
